CEO Visits Order Headquarters

St John Kenya CEO Selinah Kibogy made her maiden visit to the Order Headquarters in the UK at the end of January 2010. Accompanied by the Training Manager, Fred Otieno, Mrs. Kibogy visited the Order Secretariat on a familiarization tour that also coincided with the establishment of new twinning arrangements for St John Kenya.
During her visit, the CEO held discussions with the Order Secretariat staff as well as the Sub-Prior, Prof. Villis Marshall, AC among others. The CEO and TM also represented Kenya at the Africa meeting called to discuss the future of Secretariat support programmes for the continent.
A new twinning arrangement for St John Kenya, this time with Sommerset County, was also discussed and agreed on during her visit, and the CEO expressed her optimisim that this partnership would prove to be of great mutual benefit for both parties.
Soon after her visit to the UK, the CEO and the TM once again represented St John Kenya, this time at the Africa Regional meeting in Uganda,where various issues to do with the work of St John on the continent were discussed.
