Welcome to the website for St John Kenya. At St John, we pride ourselves in being the leading provider of First Aid and Emergency Medical Services in the country. From ambulance response to highly trained First Aiders always on the ready, St John is certainly the 'first to care'.
The Mission of St John Kenya is to provide First Aid, Health Care and Emergency services to all humanity irrespective of their colour, class or creed and to create and enhance the capacity of society to care for its health needs.
Our Vision is to be a leading organization of disciplined and committed volunteers with the capacity to save lives and promote health.
The service to humanity that our volunteers offer is well known in Kenya - with one of the largest volunteer movements in the country (about 15,000), St John has volunteers busy all over the country - offering First Aid and emergency care at accidents and incidents, giving selfless service to the communities in which they live, offering First Aid cover at public events and training our vast youth network in personal development and leadership programmes among other things.
Truly national, St John Kenya operates in nine regions across the country, with the latest entrant, North Eastern, set to start operations by end of 2009.
No wonder the Volunteer Involving Organizations Network (VIO) recognized St John Kenya as the Volunteer Organization of the Year for 2008.
