Clothing and Uniforms
The St John Ambulance uniform is well-known to the general public. All orders of dress make provision for displaying the insignia of the wearer's rank within the organization.
Members are required to wear uniform when providing first aid or community services, both for identification and to present a professional image. It is protected by St John Ambulance of Kenya Act Cap 259 (Laws of Kenya) and may only be worn by registered members.
The uniform listed below can be obtained from the St John Supplies Shop at the headquarters in Nairobi as well as regional offices.
