Strategic Plan
2008 - 2010 Plan
St John in Kenya is currently in the second year of implementation for the 2008-2010 Strategic Plan. The plan identifies the following four areas that the organization is focusing on during the implementation period of this plan:
- First Aid and Safety Training Programmes
- Volunteer Management and Development
- Community Health Care
- Ambulance Services and Disaster Management
The Plan envisions an extension of the impact of St John Kenya especially in the area of Community Health, with an increased awareness and involvement in HIV/AIDS mitigation avenues and equipping of volunteers at the community level to respond to emergencies and disasters. The Plan also seeks to expand the role and capacity of St John in responding in a timely and useful manner to disasters.
