ISO:9001 Certification

With a desire to see St John Kenya take its rightful place among high-rated organizations in terms of standards and quality service delivery, the pursuit of ISO: 9001 Certification was started in 2006. The members of staff as well as several volunteers were taken through training on the impacts and importance of the certification and an implementation time-table set in place.

A number of the requirements in the process have been met, and a Quality Manual is already in place and operational. An Operations Manual has also been developed and implemented, but is currently under revision.

It is expected that St John Kenya will attain ISO:9001 Certification by end of 2010.
