New Champs At National First Aid Competitions

The 2009 National First Aid Competitions produced a new bunch of winners in both the cadet and adult competitions, which were held on 26th September and 17th October respectively.
In the Cadet category, Nairobi region romped from a dismal 7th last year to win the overall Region title, with Coast coming in a close second. The adult competitions saw Nairobi pipped to second place, with KPA carrying the Regional honours.
Chief Commissioner Eliakim M. Masale, MBS was the Chief Guest at the cadet event, while the adult event was presided over by Susan Njau, Dep. Director of Youth Affairs in the Ministry of Youth Affairs and Sports.
