Provide efficient emergency, care and ambulance
services.
Activities
St.
John Ambulance Kenya has a well-managed fleet of ambulances fitted with
state of the art rescue and life saving equipment. The staff who provide
services in the ambulances are trained as Emergency Medical Technicians (EMTs).
St. John Ambulance is always ready to provide immediate care in situations
of sicknesses and hospital transfers at reasonably subsidized costs. St.
John addresses all emergencies free of charge. Such emergencies include
road traffic accidents, fires, floods etc. St. John Ambulance
currently has a fleet of 9 ambulances distributed as follows:-
Nairobi - 6
Coast (Mombasa) - 1
Nyanza (Kisumu) - 1
Rift Valley (Nakuru) - 1

Ambulance Contract Scheme
St. John runs an Ambulance Contract Scheme that provides ambulance services to the staff of organizations at any time of the day or night. Members of this scheme enjoy the following benefits:
a) Company staff (and their families) are entitled to Ambulance Services on credit basis on 24-hour basis.
b) The Company will have one of the staff trained in First Aid at no cost every year and receive updates on Emergency Aid.
c) There will be periodic assessment of the company’s First Aid Boxes and arrangements made for the re-filling and replacement of equipment.
d) In case of minor accidents at home, the staff can call St. John Ambulance and receive advice on how to manage the injuries.
